According to the decision of Culture and Tourism of Regional State Administration and the support of Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, the regional museum in 2008 opened Zaporizhzhya regional tourist information center (ZOTITS).

Here is the first in Ukraine multimedia database that today contains information on more than 3 thousand tourist sites the edge. Among them, the National Reserve "Khortytsya," National historical archaeological preserve "Stone Grave" regional and regional art museums, the State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve "House Popov," Nature Reserve "stone graves" Dneproges, Mykytynska remains of the fortress, a monument of nature "granite" on Byrd, Yelisiyivskyy pegmatite quarry, a water park "Cape of Good Hope", dozens of museums, hundreds of health centers, recreation and much more. The database is constantly updated and refined.

All interested persons can get help on the main tourist attractions area, natural, archaeological, historical, cultural and religious monuments, cultural, cultural and entertainment facilities, hotels, resorts, recreation centers, the main tourist routes, train and bus regional and district holidays and festivals, tourist companies and services, and many other related tourism and recreation in the Zaporozhye region.

Priority for the center is collecting, processing and dissemination of information on tourist facilities area. This cooperation information about tourist sites and organizations Zaporizhzhya region is distributed all over Ukraine. On the other hand, the center received relevant information from other regions of Ukraine. Center promotes tourism closer to people and people - to tourism.

In 2008, for professionalism, personal contribution to the socio-economic development of the tourism industry in the region he was awarded the diploma of Zaporizhzhya regional state administration and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for Family, Youth Policy, Sports and Tourism, the State Service for Tourism and resorts, president of the Ukrainian publishing consortium.
